I love going to the Golden Temple early in the morning. You see how the temple changes color as the sun begins to rise. You get there and its all dark and maybe you do a meditation or walk around the Parkarma, and suddenly you notice that the sun is rising and it reflects off the gold of the temple. Heaven on earth.

At one time, the Miri Piri Academy student body was made up almost exclusively of students from the United States. However, as the teachings of the Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan spread worldwide, our student body has grown ever more diverse. In the 2009-10 school year, less than half the students were US citizens. Where two years ago 40% of our student body needed Financial Aid, this past year more than 60% of our students applied.
Following the example of the Siri Singh Sahib, we do not want to turn away anyone who comes to the school with folded hands and longing in their hearts. These children will grow in the teachings and then graduate and share them with thousands of others around the world. They are truly the future leaders, teachers and healers. We cannot turn them away. We hope that you will support our Financial Aid Fund with a generous donation.
