Kabaddi is a sport which is unique to India and a great way for our students to connect with Indian culture. Kabaddi is played on a dirt field with two opposing teams. One team sends a single person across the center line, this person is called the raider. The raider tries to tag players on the opposing team while saying “kabaddi” over and over in one breath, this is called the “kant”. The opposing team tries to tackle and stop the other players from going back across the center line. If the raider stops the kant he is also out.

This year the Kabaddi competition was a close one. In the end Blue House came out on top, followed by White, Gold, and Silver House.
